Course Description:
This SGI approved 20-hour program delivered in a blended learning format is designed to help prepare you to ride a motorcycle/scooter/three-wheeled motorcycle in a traffic environment.
The course will help you develop control skills and riding techniques adequate for the demands of urban traffic. It will allow you to become aware of your own limitations in skill, knowledge and physical abilities relative to the demands of motorcycling. The Basic Rider Training course will help you to develop an understanding of the hazards and problems which motorcyclists and scooter riders face and how to deal with them.
Training is in a Blended Learning Format requiring both online and and hands-on riding. Each lesson builds on the skills taught in the previous lesson. Students will be given a MOST (Motorcycle Operators Skill Test) and upon successful completion you will receive a certificate.

Notes & Requirements:
We recommend that students have the ability and experience of riding a bicycle (pedal) before taking this course.
The online portion can be completed on a tablet, computer or smartphone. Participants will gain access to the online portion the Monday pior to their on-site training. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the on-site training. Please ensure you allow a minimum of 4 hours to complete the online training the week of your course.
Terms and Conditions As soon as a class is paid for your seat is reserved. Thank you for doing everything you can to attend a class you have registered for. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations received more than ten (10) days prior to a course are refunded in full. Cancellation requests received up to ten (10) days prior to the start of a course are subject to an $80 fee. Your refund for a cancellation will be the price you paid less $80.

Non-attendance will result in a charge of 100% of the course cost. There are no refunds for no-shows. Substitutions and transfers are accepted, within the calendar year, if they are received ten (10) or more days prior to the first day of the course. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses at any time. We may cancel, postpone or reschedule a course at our discretion. If an available substitute date(s) is not suitable to you, you will receive a full refund.

*Tip: If you are not already riding, we suggest borrowing riding equipment and waiting until after you have completed the course before making expensive purchases. Tips on what to buy will be given at the course.
