Regina, SK - The safety of our clients, members, partners, and the public are a top priority to the Saskatchewan Safety Council. As part of the Council’s Pandemic Emergency Response, the following outlines our current and planned response to the Coronavirus outbreak. The Council suggests that the public act upon the recommendations found on this Government of Saskatchewan public health webpage. Current: Due to Government of Saskatchewan's declaration of a provincial State of Emergency, related to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Saskatchewan Safety Council in-person programs are being postponed until further notice, and our office is closed to public access. Those effected by the rescheduling of events will be notified directly of changes as soon as possible. Council staff continue to monitor directives from the Federal and Provincial Health Authorities for updates. Our staff is still available via telephone in Regina at (306) 757-3197; Saskatoon (306) 343-2023; or Toll Free: (855) 280-7115 Email: ssc@sasksafety.org The Council is continuing to circulate videos and training on Hand Washing, illness prevention, and fraud prevention as well as messaging related to the anxieties caused by events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Potential: The Council acknowledges the potential challenges and stresses brought about by situations such as these and will continue doing its best to be responsive, flexible, and cooperative in its effort to deliver quality training services and resources to the people in the province of Saskatchewan.
